This is achieved when the mesothelioma is in a tip shape and is impossible to harden. This chemotherapy is the treatment most commonly known as cancer. Chemotherapy uses medications to treat mesothelioma although many of these drugs have a mediocre success rate on patients.

Combinations of drugs are often used to improve their effect. Some of these associations have proved their effectiveness. Mesothelioma chemotherapy is improved regularly as research labs and pharmaceutical companies discover new and effective medications. Radiotherapy Radiation therapy uses radiation to kill the tumor that creates mesothelioma. However, this procedure is extremely difficult because of the place where the tumor develops. Due to the proximity of the tumor and many vital internal organs such as the heart and lungs, physicians should be very careful about the doses of radiation they use. Lower doses of radiation can be used but this decreases its effectiveness. Bitherapy This is often used and is just a combination of surgery, chemotherapy and combined radiation therapy. Surgery removes the majority of tumor cells while chemotherapy and radiotherapy work on the removal of the sequel. This is an effective method and also reduces the symptoms of cancer
